About clarkmoody.com
This site was created to fill a hole in my life. At the time, I didn't have a website to call my own, and I felt it was time to get one. I relied on the cheap prices of GoDaddy to register the domain name in Summer 2005. Then I began designing a standards-based site from the ground up.

How do you design your sites?
I use an IDE built for Java programming called JCreator. I basically use it as a text editor because it highlights and has custom tab widths. When I else fails, I revert to Notepad. I create graphics in Adobe Photoshop CS2.
Do you recommend any helpful web-related sites?
Yes. These sites I find very helpful. Some in the way of learning code, others for their clean styles and inspiration. Here is a short list:
- W3Schools—Online programming tutorials & reference for most web languages.
- CSS Zen Garden—A must see for any web designer, beginner or pro!
- mezzoblue—Dave Shea's site. He created CSS Zen Garden, and I used his site for inspiration.
- QuirksMode—Site of Peter-Paul Koch dedicated to CSS and JavaScript tips & tricks.
Is there anyone you would like to thank?
My God has given me all the talent I have. My parents have given me encouragement in everything I do.
